Learn to Meditate

A 4-week experiential course on the basics of meditation. Discover the benefits of meditation and practice a correct and comfortable posture. Investigate the different types of meditation and which methods suit you best, and learn how to overcome obstacles like drowsiness and distraction.

About this Course

Held over four weeks, this is a practical overview of meditation and how to do it! Each week you can practice a new type of meditation, and then get feedback and guidance the following week in class.

This course is relevant whether you are Buddhist or non-religious, the meditations can be applied to all traditions, and there is no expectation that you become a Buddhist. The classes include guided meditations, explanations of the different types of meditation, how to sit comfortably, and a chance to practice walking meditation. Also, discover how to overcome sleepiness and distraction, and really focus your time for best results in a daily practice.
