Langri Tangpa Centre is a member of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), an international network of centres following the teachings of Lama Tsong Khapa, and working to relieve all beings from suffering in all its forms.

HH Dalai Lama a short and sweet home page with His Holiness as a young man, a statesman, and speaking on world peace. Nice photos.
Lama Zopa Rinpoche a site put together by Lillian Too with great devotion. Great photos, stories, prayers, famous Buddhists, and info on Rinpoche's Gurus.
Geshe Tashi Tsering has a website with info about sponsoring his monks in India, helping rebuild their monastery, and supporting his western sangha here in Queensland.

Tibetan Government in Exile is the official site, all about Tibet and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Tibet Awareness site has an extensive press kit on His Holiness the Dalai Lama, with the text of many of his public addresses.
Tibetan Recipes and Asian cooking, but as I have no interest in cooking, I don't know how good they are.

Art of Thangka is a beautiful site. Russian born traditional Tibetan thanka painting, 3 viewing sizes (to relish all the detail). Student of Namkai Norbu Rinpoche.
Himalayan Art has a wealth of paintings, statues and woven textile pictures (over 16,200), divided into genres, topics, traditions. Very well presented - you could spend hours! Search engine as well...
Dharma Art Free Dharma Art and other web goodies, including web-site templates and pics.
Dharma Net's Art site has hundreds of links and a catalogue, with both fantastic and dreadful offerings.
Karma Phuntsok's site has a pleasant mix of traditional Tibetan thanka painting with a modern western outlook. eg. Maitreya in front of skyscrapers.
Andy Weber is one of the most well-know and prolific painters of Buddhist deities. Great site with mandalas, Buddhas and more.
Buddhist Statues and some cards, but you need a fast modem to get these pics. And you need sunnies for this one!

Dharma for Children

Dharma for Kids learn how to draw a Buddha, do puzzles (some as hard as a rubic's cube) make virtual water bowl offerings and other quality fun stuff.

Explorations Tibetan art is very good at telling stories. Like Aesop's fables, many of these stories contain lessons about good and evil, often focusing on the importance of kindness, generosity and compassion. Very well presented stories and pictures.

New Yorker Magazine manages to make any topic they write about intensely interesting. A favorite mag of many of the Buddhist nuns, including Ven. Robina Courtin, that frequent our centre.

Juxtapoz Magazine cutting edge low-brow art that looks amazing, makes you think, and you don't need a degree in wankery to understand.

The Big Issue is the Australian counterpart of an amazing network of street press publications supporting the marginalised and homeless.
The Big Issue Lists (UK) for a wealth of info on how-to's (rent a house, sell a car, apply for school).
The Raymond Price Fund For Keeping Raymond Price Out Of Trouble is a funny and extraordinary story of karma, thought transformation and how to be a useful and truly non-judgmental human being. Part of the JoinMe network.
Skeleton Art has both beautiful and bleak skeletons, with over 13 artists painting skulls and skeletons of all persuasions - weird, wonderful, tattooed, and even flesh-covered.
